CHROME EXTENSION
THE PROBLEM
We realized that asking an entire company to import their LinkedIn networks through a mobile ZKTLS flow required too much setup for frequent use. Network import needed to feel faster and more ambient.
We gave recruiters a Chrome extension to sync their own and their company's networks into Icebreaker using only public data already visible to them.
APPROACH
LinkedIn is the hardest network to sync, while the others are easier to access. With a Chrome extension, we could run a background process and let users build their network graph while browsing normally.
I designed the full extension experience: the popup UI, the onboarding flow, queue management, and the button injection on LinkedIn profile pages. I included detailed interaction notes so engineering had clear states and edge cases to build from.
