LE PETIT BOX
A music collective bringing underground electronic music to the community. I co-own it with my partner Rick and handle brand, curation, and creative direction.
OVERVIEW
Le Petit Box exists at the intersection of music, community, and design. We curate experiences around underground electronic music — house, techno, disco — creating spaces where people can discover new sounds and connect with others who care about the culture.
As co-founder, I'm responsible for the brand identity, event design, curation strategy, and all visual communications. Every flyer, every YouTube thumbnail, every Instagram post is designed to reflect the vibe we're building: intimate, intentional, and deeply respectful of the music.
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
Le Petit Box isn't about making money — it's about building culture. We focus on curation over clout, community over crowds, and quality over quantity. The goal is to create a space where people feel something real.
Our YouTube channel (14K subscribers) extends the experience beyond the physical events, documenting sets and sharing the music with a global audience. The brand identity — built around Boxie, our mascot — is playful yet refined, approachable yet distinctive.
PHILOSOPHY
The mission is to create an alternate reality that celebrates creativity. Curation, attention to detail, and a healthy dose of disregard for the norm. Every event is designed to evoke a new but familiar feeling, and find the moments you'll remember.
KEY LEARNINGS
Running Le Petit Box has taught me about community building, brand consistency, and the power of showing up consistently over time. It's also a masterclass in operations — coordinating venues, managing logistics, promoting events, and keeping quality high with limited resources.
Most importantly, it's a reminder that great work doesn't always have to be tied to revenue or scale. Sometimes the most meaningful projects are the ones you do for love of the craft.
